Willems, the widow of bookseller Dirck Pietersz. VOSCUYL. died in Amsterdam
1632. Addresses: "inde Pascaert", "sub signo Tabulae
Nauticae", à l'enseigne de la Carte Nautique", "op 't
Water". (1611-1612); "bij die Lienbaens Bruch"; "op de N.Z.
Voorburgwal" (1614-1624); "op den hoeck van de Doelestraet"
(1627-1632). His son Gerrit Jansz. (1603-1653) continued the firm on the
address "in de Engel in de Oude
Hoochstraet".

Pupil of Hendrik GOLTZIUS. Worked in The Hague in 1594. He married Eva Stalpart
van de Wiele (1595) and was in Leyden (1598). Returned to Amsterdam in 1627 and
thereafter to The Hauge, where he lived next to his son Jacob III. He died in
1629.
Published his own work.

Antoine: Was in the Guild of
Antwerp 1598. In 1630 he went to Paris, where he called himself BONENFANT. He
died in Paris March 6, 1644. He only published under the name Bonenfant.

Pieter: Antwerp 1561-1583. Father
of Antoine. He married Catharina van Palermo. She continued the firm after
Pieters' death in 1583. His daughter Sara married Abraham JANSSENS in 1602. His
elder son Pieter (died in 1627), was together with his brother Antoine in the
Guild of Antwerp.

MATHAM was one of his pupils. Died in Haarlem, 1617.
